Dr. Daniel Boster

For more than 25 years, I taught English and writing at both the secondary and college levels. Along the way, I collaborated on publishing and editing projects and presented at conferences across the country. In the later years of my education career, I shifted into coaching, working closely with teachers and administrators to support their professional growth.

Since retiring from education, I’ve continued to expand my work as a coach, writer, and consultant in educational, non-profit, and corporate spheres. I hold a Ph.D. in English from the University of Nebraska, an M.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin, and a B.A. in English and philosophy from the University of Texas. I am certified by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals and a member of several professional coaching organizations.

Through Boster Consulting and Coaching, I partner with clients to:

  • Collaborate on professional, personal, and creative writing projects

  • Provide editing and proofreading services

  • Conduct and support research projects

  • Develop winning proposals and grants

  • Offer coaching for career and life transitions

My approach is straightforward and collaborative. I listen first, ask questions, and bring clarity to each project. Clients often describe me as detail-oriented and organized, while also encouraging and honest.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, gardening, and going to concerts here in Omaha, Nebraska. I work with clients virtually across the country and in person throughout the Omaha metro area.

“I valued Dan's career advice. When I was considering a move to a new position, he engaged me in several conversations in ways that got me to think about my values, goals, and personal circumstances in an objective way, which was encouraging without simply telling me what he would do if it were him in my shoes.”

“Dan's questions are probative and show a desire to truly understand the issues at hand rather than just provide a series of canned responses and strategies.”
